Using AirPlay / DLNA

There are two ways to connect this unit and your
AirPlay/DLNA device, wireless connection (direct
wireless connection) and wireless connection via
wireless LAN router.
Use of a wireless LAN router is recommended if

possible.
This unit cannot be used as a wireless LAN router.

Use a wireless LAN router to connect your AirPlay/
DLNA device to the internet.
Caution
When this unit is placed too close to a wireless LAN

device or microwave, noise interference may occur,
causing crackling sound. It may also reduce the
communication speed and cause invalid
connection. Place the unit away from the wireless
LAN device or microwave.
This unit is not guaranteed to operate with all the

AirPlay/DLNA compatible devices or wireless LAN
routers. Please be noted in advance.

About AirPlay

With Apple AirPlay technology, you can stream your
music from your Mac/Windows/iPod touch/iPhone/
iPad to external speakers.
AirPlay usage requires:
iTunes version 10.2 or later

About DLNA

With DLNA technology, this unit can play back music
which is stored on your PC and/or mobile devices via
wireless connection.
DLNA usage requires:
Mobile devices supporting DLNA

- Refer to the instruction manual of your device.
DLNA application with server function (DMS)

- About the DMS support, refer to the help page of
the installed application.
Windows Media Player 12 (Windows 7)

- Windows Media Player 11 or earlier version of
Windows Media Player can not be used for
playback.

Depending on the DLNA application, you may

experience malfunctions during network connection
or playing back. Try another application in such a

DRM files cannot be played back.

Streaming audio sounds of the recorded videos
