NOTE: The newer 35451 impact mechanism is now
used for both land and underwater applications.
This impact mechanism is used on all current IW12
models.

NOTE: If you have an older P/N 12783 - Impact
Mechanism and need to verify whether or not it is the
older standard mechanism, there are two key parts that
are noticeably different.
The Anvil and Hammer Case (Refer to page 20) are
the two parts to help you verify if you have a Standard or
Heavy-Duty mechanism.
NOTE: The older 22729 impact mechanism is now
obsolete and no longer available. Use part 35451.
The only difference between 22729 & 35451 mechanisms
is the 35451 has an additional O-ring allowing its use for
land and underwater.
