17.6.4 Adjustable flue damper at the boiler flue outlet
Every installation is different because of:
different chimney
-
different outdoor temperature (maximum and minimum), according to the height on the sea level.
-
The opening of the flue damper must be adjusted according to the values indicated at the beginning of this chapter,
for a correct and quick adjustment of the boiler combustion.
The damper is included in the boiler supply.
For those boilers without built-in flue damper, this can be added as an optional accessory, see second point of this
chapter.
Its opening must be adjusted at the moment of the boiler's commissioning and not varied anymore.
As a built-in part of the boiler:
In case of chimney with excessive draught, see paragraph "Flue draught stabilizer".
