Filter replacement
The fi ne fi lter should be replaced at least once a
year. HEPA fi lters should be replaced after every
300 hours of operation. Wear a dust mask when
replacing the fi lter. Only use an original fi lter.
Release and lift off the lid. To prevent the escape
of dust, place a plastic sack over the cyclone, and
remove the fi lter cartridge. Clean the fi lter plate.
Then fi t the new fi lter.
- CAUTION! Do not reuse the main fi lter once it
has been removed from the machine.
The HEPA fi lter is removed by withdrawing the car-
tridge after opening the lid. Insert the new HEPA
fi lter into the holder on the motor head, then insert
the new fi lter cartridge into the machine and close
the lid.
Caution
The manufacturer or a trained person must carry
out an inspection at least annually, e.g. damage to
the fi lter, air-tightness of the dust-extraction ma-
chine and the function of the control unit.
The turbopump has a very long service life and
requires no maintenance. After approximately
10,000 hours of operation, the radial seal between
the motor and the pump should be lubricated with
bearing grease. The bearings and seals of the
electric motor must be inspected at the same time.
These must be lubricated and replaced, if
necessary. If any other wear is observed, the parts
concerned must be replaced.
