FIELD OF VIEW (FOV) FOR TIME LAPSE

Your camera includes several FOV options for time lapse and night
lapse photos. Photos are captured at 12MP.
FOV Description
Largest ield of view, increased image
Wide stability. Good for action shots to capture as
much as possible within the frame.
Mid-range ield of view, moderate
Medium
image stability.
Mid-range ield of view that removes the
isheye distortion. Good for capturing aerial
Linear
footage or any other shot where you want to
remove the distortion.
Smallest ield of view, reduced image
Narrow stability. Reduced distortion. Good for
capturing content at a distance.

SHUTTER (TIME LAPSE)
Within Time Lapse mode, this setting applies only to Night Lapse.
Shutter lets you determine the amount of time that the shutter is open.
The default option is Auto.
Use this table to help you select the most appropriate setting for your
activity:

Auto (up to 2 sec) Sunrise, sunset, dawn, dusk, twilight, night
Dawn, dusk, twilight, traic at night, Ferris
2 sec, 5 sec, 10 sec
wheel, ireworks, light painting
20 sec Night sky (with light)
30 sec Night stars, Milky Way (complete darkness)
PRO TIP: For best results when using the Shutter setting, mount your
camera on a tripod or other stable surface to reduce the amount of
blur in your video or photos.
