INSPECTION DETAILS - J. ROAD TEST
CHECK BLIND SPOT MONITOR WITH
REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT FUNCTION
TRAC AND/OR VSC SYSTEM
a ) Turning off the TRAC system
Check that the indicator light illuminates on the multi-
information display when the switch is quickly pressed
and released.
b ) Turning off the TRAC and VSC systems
Check that the indicator light illuminates on the multi-
information display when the switch is pressed and held
for more than 3 seconds.
c ) Set the VSC off switch "ON".
STEERING OPERATION AND OFF-CENTER
a ) Check steering for smooth turning operation and any
unusual noise.
b ) C heck that the steering wheel is correctly aligned when
driving on a level road surface.
