ESC4000 G4X
1.
Remove the HDD cage.
Refer to section ESC4000 G4X under 2.4.1 Installing the 3.5-inch SATA HDD/SAS HDD
for the steps on removing the HDD cage.
2.
Prepare the SSD/SATAD/SAS HDD/NVME
and the bundled set of screws.
3.
Place the SSD/SATAD/SAS HDD/NVME
into the HDD cage (A), then secure it using
four (4) screws (B).
4.
Connect the SATA and power cable to
your SSD/SATAD/SAS HDD.
OR
(optional) Connect the NVME cable to
your NVME device.
The NVME cable is optional, for more
information about the optional NVME
cable, please visit www.asus.com/
support.
5.
Replace the HDD cage.
Refer to section ESC4000 G4X under 2.4.1 Installing the 3.5-inch SATA HDD/SAS HDD
for the steps on replacing the HDD cage.
6.
Repeat steps 1 to 6 to install the other SSD/SATAD/SAS HDD/NVME.
