HANNEL ANNER AND
When turning on power and changing channels, HD receiver displays the Channel
Banner in which shows information on the current program.
Channel Number
Channel Name
The information in the Channel Banner includes channel number, channel name(call-
sign), program title, broadcasting time, rate information, lock status, alternate language
availability, closed caption availability, audio channel information, and current time. Some
information is depicted as icons as shown in the above figure. The meaning of the each
field in the Channel Banner must be self-explaining, but the lock icon needs more
explanation.
