Cleaning the water pan
The water pan is located at the back of the
cabinet (Fig. 8). Its function is to collect and
evaporate the defrost water. Generally it does
not need special care, but if you find some
water overflowing or detect an odd smell, it
may need to be checked and cleaned.
• Pull out the power cord
pan up a little and then carefully pull it
straight out.
CAUTION: The discharge pipe may be hot!
• After cleaning, reinstall the water pan, making sure that the pipe is on top
of the water pan before you push it into the original position.
Changing a shelf position
Grip the shelf, lift it slightly and then pull it straight out of the compartment,
keeping it flat. To install the shelf at a different level, slide the shelf carefully
into the appropriate groove, holding it firmly to prevent breakage.
Holiday time
• Short holidays: Leave the fridge operating during vacations of less than
three weeks.
• Long holidays: If the appliance will not be used for a month or more,
remove all food and unplug the power cord. Clean and dry the interior
thoroughly. To prevent odour and mould growth, leave the door open
slightly, blocking it open, if necessary.

Moving the refrigerator

• If you must move the appliance, empty all food and wipe the inside dry.
• Securely tape down all loose items inside the appliance (shelves, racks,
etc.), turn the levelling feet up to the base and tape the door shut.
• The refrigerator is heavy, take care when moving it. We recommend you
lift it together with another person to avoid injury or an accidental fall and
damage to the appliance.
• Do not lay the unit completely flat on its side or back as this may cause
damage to the compressor. Do not decline it more than 45°.
• Ensure the fridge stays secure in an upright position during transportation.
Protect the outside of the fridge with a blanket or similar item.
