Setting the kitchen timer
If you touch presets 6 to 10 on the settings range for
a longer time, the duration automatically counts up to
99 minutes.
When the duration has elapsed, the hotplate switches
off. You will hear a signal and 00 lights up on the
display for 10 seconds. The x indicator lights up
brightly. Touch the hotplate settings range. The
display goes out and the audible signal ceases.
Touch the 0 symbol for the desired hotplate. Change
the duration or set to ‹‹ in the settings range.
The automatic time limit also applies to the timer
function.
You can use this function to preselect a duration for
all hotplates. Each time a hotplate is switched on,
the preselected duration then counts down. When
the duration has elapsed, the hotplate switches off
automatically.
You can find out how to switch on the automatic timer
in the Basic settings section.
You can change the duration for a hotplate or switch
off the automatic timer for the hotplates.
Touch the 0 symbol for the desired hotplate. Change
the duration or set to ‹‹ in the settings range.
You can use the kitchen timer to set a time of up to
99 minutes. It runs independently of all the other
settings. The hob must be switched on.
You can activate the kitchen timer on every hotplate
that is turned off.
1. Touch the 0 symbol for the hotplate. The U
indicator for the kitchen timer lights up. ‹‹ lights
up on the timer display.

Set the desired time in the settings range.
The timer starts counting down after a few seconds.
