7. Lapping

7.1. Shake the slurry (big size slurry, 11.5 μm diameter),
7.2. Put some slurry on the plate,
7.3. Set the rotation speed to 5rpm,
7.4. Put the jig on the plate,
7.5. Set the time,
7.6. Reset the timer,
7.7. Start,
7.8. Increase the rotation speed to desired speed at a rate of 1rpm every 2 or 3 turns,
7.9. Add slurry regularly in order to keep the surface whitish (about once every few minutes),
7.10. When the time is over, press the button to stop the alarm,

8. End of polishing or lapping

8.1. Take up the PP6 jig's central ring, turn upside down the jig and put it gently on the jig holder,
8.2. Wipe out the slurry with wiper and water,
8.3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the main body in order to make a leak,
8.4. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the jig,
8.5. Take off the ceramic plate,
8.6. Wash thoroughly the ceramic plate and the chip in the sink, using neutral detergent,
8.7. Wipe dry with wiper,
8.8. Check the sample state with microscope, measure the thickness, etc...
8.9. If needed, continue lapping or polishing of the sample. If the cloth is not dry, you don't need to condition the
cloth with slurry again (steps 6.1-6.4).

9. Unload the sample

9.1. Prepare the hotplate, put the ceramic plate on it and start heating,
9.2. When the wax has melt, take the sample away with tweezers,
Recommendation: don't slide the sample along the plate or some scratches could appear. It may be safer to put
the plate and sample in acetone and wait for the wax to dissolve, though it may takes long time. Ultrasonic may
help (I use "may" because I haven't tried yet).
9.3. Clean well the sample with acetone,
