Foldable/detachable footrests
• The nurse folds down the footrests
before the Flexo is raised.
• The nurse or the user will lift up one
leg first, the nurse will then fold
down the footrest; then the same
procedure is followed for the other
leg.
Folding up the armrests
The armests, which operate independently of each other, can be folded without difficulty,
protect the user when raising or lowering the armrests. When folded up, the armrests
should stay in place and not fall back by themselves. If so, please consult your dealer.
Armrests with front lock
(option 68405660)
• Once the user is sitting in the Flexo,
the armrests with front lock can be
lowered and positioned in front of the
user.
• These armrests are then locked in a
horizontal position.
• The armrests can be unlocked by
pressing in the safety catch on the
hinge of the frame (see illustration). The armrests can then be folded up, away from the
user.
• When raising or lowering the armrests, always give the user some protection.
• The armrests can also be used as a support when sitting or standing, but bear in mind
that the armrests cannot be locked in all directions.
Note: When lowering the armrests into place, take care not to get fingers trapped
in the hinge.
