- Page 2 User’s guide OPUS cityLAM A4 Healht & Safety precautions: ● Before operating the equipment please read the Health & Safety precautions, manufacturer recommendations and the operation manual. ● The operation manual should be easily available at any time for the operator. ● The equipment should be installed on sturdy and level surface near a 220-240 V, 50Hz socket. ● The equipment should be protected against dust and moisture ● The equipment must not be placed near the heating or ventilation units. ● The equipment must not be used in vicinity of inflammable liquids or gases ● The power supply cable should be protected against damage and must not be used to pull the equipment or to remove the plug from the socket. ● The equipment must be kept away and out of from reach of children. ● Danger! The equipment contains rotary elements. Ensure long hair, loose jewellery, ties and other loose pieces of clothing are keep away they can be get entangled in the rolls. ● The equipment must not be used for any other purposes than those indicated in the instruction manual. ● It is necessary to check and supervise if the equipment is operated correctly. ● In case of any malfunctions, you must contact the dealer or service team. ● The equipment must not be located outside and should be operated in a room temperature higher than +8 °C.

Starting the equipment : • Plug the equipment into the power socket and turn on by pressing the button • Press the buttons on the touch panel to setup the thickness of pouch required from the range of foil thicknesses from 80mic – 200mic. The process of heating will start automatically. • The heating time for the laminator rollers is 4-6 minutes. during this time on LCD display the red diode. • When laminator is ready the green diode flashes. The equipment is now ready to use. 2. Preparing the document : • Choose correct thickness and type of pouch. Put the document into the pouch. NOTE! It is recommended to leave approx. 3mm margins all around the document from the edge. 3. Hot lamination • Open the flap at the back of equipment, insert the laminating pouch from the front with the document inside it into the rollers, and remember to put the sealed end first. • The pouch/document will move through the unit and exit at the back. • If the lamination is not good you can repeat laminating or change settings • After one hour in “stand by” mode the machine will turn off automatically 4. Cold lamination • Plug the equipment into the power socket and turn on by pressing the button. Choose proper option on display for „cold lamination” ...
