3.3 MONITOR MIXER

Pictured above is the INSPIRE 1394 Monitor Mixer, which is located within the Control Panel.
This Monitor Mixer allows for flexible routing of your audio inputs before it reaches your
software program. This is helpful in monitoring your live input without having to hear a delay
resulting from the time it takes to process your audio in and out of the computer to your audio
output device- called latency.
The Monitor Mixer will not affect the audio for each input going to your software, as it is strictly
for monitoring purposes. The Monitor Mixer will allow you to mix all inputs going into your
INSPIRE 1394 with the stereo playback from your software for zero latency monitoring while
recording.
