Safety Precautions

• Do not overload the AC supply branch circuit that provides power to the server.
• Do not disable the power cord grounding plug. The grounding plug is an important safety feature.
• Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet that is easily accessible at all times.
• Unplug the power cord from the inlet on the appliance rear panel to disconnect power to the
server.
• Do not place anything on the power cords or cables. Arrange them so that no one can accidentally
step on or trip over them. Do not pull on a cord or cable. When unplugging the cord from the
electrical outlet, grasp the cord by the plug.
• Do not plug telecommunications/telephone connectors into the NIC connectors.
• This server contains an internal lithium battery. There is a risk of fire and burns if battery is not
handled properly. Do not attempt to recharge the battery. Do not expose the battery to
temperatures higher than 60° C. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, short external contact, or
dispose of battery in fire or water.
• Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent
type recommended by Celestix. Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations for
hazardous waste.
