  • Page 3 IMPRESSA Z7 – Quick Reference Guide T Remove the filter cartridge extension from the Welcome Pack. T Fit the filter extension on top of a CLARIS Blue filter car- tridge. T Remove and empty the water tank. T Open the filter holder and insert the filter cartridge into the water tank, exerting slight pressure.

    IMPRESSA Z7 – Quick Reference Guide Rinsing the cappuccino After each milk preparation, the IMPRESSA prompts you to run a frother cappuccino rinse. Precondition: is displayed COFFEE READY CAPPU RINSE and the Maintenance button c lights up. T Place a receptacle under the cappuccino frother.

WATER FOR CAPPUCCINO PRESS BUTTON T Rinse the receptacle thoroughly, fill it with 250 ml of fresh water and immerse the milk pipe in the water.
  • Page 7 T Open the cover of the bean container. T Open the cover of the filler funnel for preground coffee. T Insert a JURA cleaning tablet into the filler funnel. T Close the cover of the filler funnel and the cover of the bean container.
  • Page 8 IMPRESSA Z7 – Quick Reference Guide Descaling the machine The IMPRESSA builds up deposits of limescale over time and auto- matically prompts you to descale it when necessary. The degree of calcification depends on the hardness of your water. If the descaling agent comes into contact with the skin or eyes, this CAUTION can cause irritation.

T Completely dissolve the contents of one blister (three JURA descaling tablets) in a receptacle holding 600 ml of water. This may take several minutes. T Pour the solution into the empty water tank and insert it into the machine.
