SOLUTIONS
• No fuel in hopper.
• Firebox draft may be too low for sensing switch in feeder
circuit to operate. Check for closed doors, loose or missing
gasket on doors or hopper lid.
• Restriction in the hopper or feeder. Remove all fuel and
examine. Clear the obstruction.
• Feed motor has failed.
• Feed rate too high.
• Poor air to fuel mixture. (Check burn pot clean-out cover
and air intake).
• Burn pot may need to be cleaned.
• Combination of all the above.
Seal the vent pipe joints and connection to stove with silicone.
The exhaust vent is the only part of the system that is under
positive pressure.
• No fuel in hopper.
• Draft is too low, blocked flue.
• Something is restricting fuel flow.
• Hopper lid not closed properly.
• Feed motor or combustion fan has failed.
• Air-fuel ratio is too rich.
- Feed rate too high.
- Draft too low caused by a gasket leak.
• Feed rate too low.
• Draft too low because of gasket leak.
• Poor quality or damp pellets.
• Combination of 1 and 2.
• Burnpot has excess ash located around igniter and bracket.
• Burpot grate holes are blocked or partially block.
