To capture the entire screen, select Screen Capture > Capture Full Screen.
By default, the captured image will appear on the current page of your Notebook file.
However, if there are objects on this page, Notebook software saves the screen capture on
a new page.

Importing Graphic Files

You can insert graphic files directly into the current page via the Picture from File command in
the Insert menu. The imported picture will appear in the top-left corner of the current page.
Notebook software supports .bmp, .pict, .tga and SimpleText image formats.
To import graphic files:

Select Picture from File from the Insert menu.

Select the directory in which the image file you want to import is stored.

Select the file name of the image file you want to import to the current Notebook file.

Press the Open button.
The image file will be directly imported into the current Notebook file in the top-left corner
of the workspace.

Cutting, Copying and Pasting

An easy and familiar way to import objects and content into Notebook software is to cut or
copy selected material from other sources and then paste it into a Notebook file.
To cut/copy and paste into a Notebook file:

Select either the text or graphic (but not both) to be imported from another Macintosh
application or from another Notebook file. Note that in the Mac OS X operating system
you can only copy text into the clipboard.

Select Cut or Copy from the Edit menu.

Press the Cut or Copy buttons.

Switch to the Notebook file.

Select Paste from the Edit menu.
or
Press the Paste button.
The selection will appear within a selection rectangle in the upper-left corner of the
current page. You can easily reposition the pasted selection by pressing on it and
dragging it elsewhere.
