Light Switch

The UXV500iG light switch is a four-position switch. The ignition
switch must be ON to power the light circuit. Rotate the switch to
select the lighting required for the driving situation.

2WD / 4WD Knob
The UXV500iG is equipped with an remote, electric system to shift
the differential between two-wheel and four-wheel drive modes.
Rotate and then press the 2WD/4WD knob to select the desired
drive mode (see images at right).
LIGHTS OFF 1 1 1 1 1 :
In the position, the lights are
OFF.
POSITION LIGHT
ON 2 2 2 2 2 :
The lights are OFF (not a fea-
ture on US-market model).
LOW-BEAM
HEAD-
LIGHT ON 3 3 3 3 3 :
In this position the low-beam of
the headlights are ON.
HIGH-BEAM HEAD-
LIGHT ON 4 4 4 4 4 :
In this position the high-beam of
the headlights are ON.
2WD 5 5 5 5 5 :
In the position, the differ-
ential will select 2WD
mode (rear wheels only).
4WD 6 6 6 6 6 :
In the position, the differen-
tial will select 4WD mode
(all wheels are driven). The
icon "4WD" will display on
the LCD speedometer 7.
NOTE: See page 57 for information on the 4WD Differential
Lock position of the 2WD/4WD knob and its icon indication on
the LCD speedometer.
