arming, opening a door will completely cancel Automatic Rearming
if Last Door Arming is off, and only temporarily suspend it while the
door is open if Last Door Arming is turned on.
#4 Starter Interrupt Circuit: Default ON. This feature controls
the starter interrupt circuit. Programming this feature off completely
eliminates the starter interrupt output, while leaving all other system
operations fully functional.
#5 Automatic Starter Interrupt: Default OFF. Programming this
feature "on" will cause the starter interrupt circuit to automatically
engage 90 seconds after the ignition switch is turned off, and also 90
seconds after disarming unless the ignition switch is turned on dur-
ing the 90 second period. This feature will engage the starter inter-
rupt circuit independently of all other system functions, and the en-
gagement of starter interrupt will occur even if the system is in an
otherwise disarmed state. Once the starter interrupt output is acti-
vated by this feature, the system must be disarmed with the trans-
mitter, or placed into valet mode, to disengage it in order to start the
vehicle.
#6 Ignition Activated Override: Default OFF. This feature al-
lows an activated system to be overridden and disarmed by simply
turning the ignition switch on within 10 seconds of the system's acti-
vation. After 10 seconds, the Selectable Code Override only can
disarm the system in place of the transmitter.
#7 Doors Lock With Last Door Arming: Default OFF. This fea-
ture adds the locking of the doors to feature #2. When the system
automatically arms 30 seconds after the vehicle's last door is closed,
the doors will also lock.
#8 Doors Lock With Automatic Rearming: Default OFF. This
feature adds the locking of the doors to feature #3. If the system is
allowed to automatically rearm 90 seconds after being disarmed
from the transmitter, the doors will also lock.
#9 Doors Lock With Ignition: Default ON. This feature automati-
cally locks the vehicle's doors 1.75 seconds after the ignition switch

activate, or "trigger" the system. If the system is activated:
-
The vehicle's horn (or the UltraOne package's optional electronic
siren) will sound. The horn will repeatedly sound for one
second, then pause for one second. This audible output will
sound for the duration of the activated cycle. The optional
electronic siren, used with the UltraOne package, features
changing base tones, in addition to a piercing variable overtone;
this is the exclusive patented Psycho Siren.
-
The parking lights will flash on and off repeatedly. The
UltraOne package will also include flashing the interior lights.
-
The doors will relock. If opened, relocking will occur when the
door is closed.
The horn will sound and lights will flash for 60 seconds (30
seconds is optional), unless you disarm the system using the
remote transmitter by pressing the UNLOCK button. If needed, the
Valet Switch and ignition key may be used to disarm the system
(Selectable Code Override; pages 10-12). Please note that while
the system is activated, pressing the transmitter's UNLOCK button
will only disarm the system, and not unlock the doors. In this
situation, to then unlock the doors, simply press the UNLOCK
button again to unlock the doors. This is Safety Disarm.
When the system has activated, if all protected entries are
secure at the end of 60 seconds, the system will stop itself and
rearm automatically to detect another entry attempt. If there is a
protected entry still open, or a sensor still in a violated state at the
end of 60 seconds, the system will reactivate for two more 60
second cycles. If this occurs, the system will still stop itself after a
total of 3 minutes and rearm automatically, and ignore the open
entry or violated sensor circuit while protecting the other circuits.
Should the violated entry be closed or the sensor return to normal,
protection will be reinstated for the affected circuit.
After the security system is activated and it resets itself, the
confirmation upon disarming will no longer be the normal two horn
chirps, and the lights flashing twice then staying on. Instead, the
system will have 4 horn chirps and the lights will flash four times
