NOTE
inverter, and the generator attempts to compensate by revving the engine higher
to generate more electricity. In the rare event of an inverter failure, there will be no
voltage output from the inverter, and the engine will remain revving at or close to its top
speed. Overspeed revving for a prolonged period can damage internal
components due to increased heat from the engine. With an inverter failure, each of
the following three symptoms will be present:
• The ECU will draw the engine down to idling speed.
• The digital display will indicate zero (0) Volts.
• The 120 V receptacles will not supply voltage, regardless of breaker
settings.
If your generator exhibits this behavior (it only idles, producing no voltage), take the
generator to an authorized BRAVE service center for servicing.
NOTE: Use the running and starting wattage provided by the equipment manufacturer
if available. If not available, use provided "Generator Wattage Reference Worksheet."
OUTPUT AND OVERLOAD INDICATOR:
The GREEN Output Indicator Light will illuminate at normal operating conditions.
The RED Output Indicator Light will illuminate when the generator is overloaded, if there is a short
circuit in a connected appliance, or if Low Oil Alarm System has been tripped.

OPERATION OF GENERATOR
HOW TO USE YOUR GENERATOR
Before connecting or reconnecting an appliance
to the generator, check that it is in good order, and
that its electrical rating does not exceed that of
the generator.
This generator has been designed to prevent the engine from
"overspeed" revving. Overspeed revving occurs when a generator's
on-board monitoring systems detect a drop in voltage from the
