WARNING:
Perform the following
steps after each use.
S Stop the unit and disconnect the power
source when not in use.
S Carry the unit with motor stopped.
S Allow motor to cool before storing or trans-
porting.
S Store unit and extension cord indoors in a
high, dry place out of the reach of children.
Store unit unplugged.
S Store pruner with all guards in place and posi-
tion pruner so that any sharp object cannot
accidentally cause injury.

TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE

WARNING:

forming all of the recommended remedies below except remedies that require unit to be
operating.

STORAGE

SEASONAL STORAGE

Prepare your unit for storage at the end of the
season or if it will not be used for 30 days or
more.
If your unit is to be stored for a period of time:
S Clean it thoroughly before lengthy storage.
S Store in a clean dry area.
S Lightly oil external metal surfaces and guide
bar.
S Oil the chain and wrap it in heavy paper or
cloth.
