Contaminated Bluelab
Leap™ pH Probe /
glassware not clean.
Bridge contaminated,
blocked or dry.
Incorrect pH calibration.
pH calibration unreliable.

damaged or old.
Broken glass bulb,
tube or connector.
Insufficient power to take
a reliable reading.
Batteries dead or
inserted incorrectly.
Problem with pH
calibration.
Correction
®
Clean probe (see section 8.0);
then calibrate.
Hydrate probe in KCl storage
solution for 24 hours, see section
9.0. Do not measure proteins or
oils with this unit. Replace unit.
Ensure calibration solutions are
accurate. Replace if in doubt.
Wait longer for readings to
stabilize before calibrating to a
constant value.
Re -calibrate Bluelab
Probe
(see section 3.0).
Replace Bluelab
Probe.
Check Leap™ pH Probe for
damage.
Replace probe.
Replace the batteries.
DO NOT use rechargeable
batteries.
Check batteries are inserted
correctly. Replace if necessary.
