To add or remove outdoor or indoor units from the Carrier VRF series master unit:
Outdoor Units: - If the quantity of outdoor units decreases, the system shows error code H2. - If the quantity of outdoor units increases, the system shows error code H3. - These errors are displayed only on the main unit. - The system must be powered off and then powered on again to recover.
Indoor Units: - If the quantity of indoor units decreases and a unit is lost for over 3 minutes, the system shows error code H7. - This error is not recoverable until the indoor unit quantity is restored.
Note: The system detects unit changes automatically and triggers corresponding errors. Recovery typically requires restoring the correct number of units and restarting the system.
