After successful buildup of the connection the browser
is opened (e.g. Netscape 6.1) and the IP address of the
device is entered. The
http://192.168.200.1.
Confirm this address to access the start page of KACO-
proLOG.

6.3.3 Windows XP

Step 1
Make sure that a suitable modem is connected to your
PC and properly installed.
Click "(START/SYSTEM CONTROL) or, respectively,
(START / SETTINGS / SYSTEM CONTROL)" to access
the menu item "network connections "Now select
Assistant for new connections ".
If KACO-proLOG is equipped with an
internal analog modem, an analog modem
or ISDN modem with analog simulation
must be used for communication.
If KACO-pr oL OG is equipped with an internal ISDN
modem, the PC must likewise be equipped with an
internal ISDN modem for communication.
S tep 2
Click "A ssistant for new connections ", followed by
"Proceed".
N ow select the menu item "Connect to Internet". In the
next dialog, select "Establish manual connection"; and
in the next dialog, click "
" Connect to remote data transfer modem ".
