Performance Monitoring Overview Overview The TimeHub 5500 continuously makes phase deviation measurements on each input reference. Network performance parameters based on these measurements are computed and updated periodically. Depending on the type of measurement, the time periods are either averaging time or observation time and are performed either on a single input port or across all enabled input ports.

Overview Automatic messages automatically report network and system alarmed and non-alarmed events. Events are conditions that are detected by the TimeHub 5500. The alarm property of each event specifies how it is reported, or if it is not reported. For certain events, this property is user configurable to control which automatic messages are generated by the system.
