Problem
I cannot save the data to a
USB memory device.
I cannot print a file saved on
the USB memory device.
Cause & Solution
R View, print or save a received fax document before erasing (page 64).
Cause & Solution
R There is no USB memory device inserted in the unit. Insert a supported USB
memory device (page 101).
R The USB memory device is write-protected. Release the write protection.
(For details about releasing write protection, refer to the documentation of
your device.)
R The USB memory device may be faulty. Using a computer, check that the
device can be read and written to normally.
R There is not enough space to save new files on the USB memory device.
Delete unnecessary files, and try again.
R There is no USB memory device inserted in the unit. Insert a supported USB
memory device (page 101).
R You tried to print different file formats onto 1 page. Activate the continuous
print setting (page 41).
R The file may be broken. Try viewing the file on your computer.
R The file is too large or is in an unsupported format. Use a supported file
format (page 40).
