• Insert a new battery with the positive (+) side facing up and go to step 4.
Note: If the internal seal shown here comes out with the battery, replace it as shown. If the seal is
broken or seated incorrectly, moisture could enter the heart rate chest strap and cause it to
malfunction.
3. Remove the battery again, turn it over, and reinsert it with the positive (+) side facing up. Then wait
three seconds.
