Engine Fails to Reach High RPM
Possible Cause
Worn or dirty needle valve
Loose carburetor jets
Faulty ignition timing
Engine Uses Excessive Oil
Possible Cause
Bent engine ventilation hose
Excessive oil in system
Use of non-recommended oil (too thin)
Solution
Clean and/or replace needle valve
Tighten jets
See your Polaris dealer
Solution
Install a new hose
Check oil level, maintain at recommended level
Replace with a recommended oil
