4. Remove the wireless card as shown.

5. Connect the wireless card cable to the new wireless card.
6. Install the new wireless card.
7. Reinstall the power button board. See "Replacing the power button board" on page 30.

Replacing the system board shield and the storage drive board shield

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter
1 "Read this first: Important safety information" on page 1 .
To replace the system board shield and storage drive board shield, do the following:
1. Remove all media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and all cables that are connected to the computer.
2. Remove the computer covers. See "Removing the computer covers" on page 23.
3. Remove the I/O board shield. See "Replacing the I/O board shield" on page 26.
4. Remove the power button board. See "Replacing the power button board" on page 30.
5. Remove the wireless card. See "Replacing the wireless card" on page 30.
