Lock or unlock channels
You can block specific channels.
1. In the child lock menu, select
[Channel Block].
2. Select the channels to lock or
unlock, then press OK.
Lock or unlock the TV or the
connected devices
You can lock the TV or the devices
connected to the TV.
1. In the child lock menu, select
[Input Block].
2. Select the input devices to lock or
unlock, then press OK.
Parental rating
You can set your TV to display only
programmes with age ratings lower
than your child's age. This restriction
only applies to digital channels from
broadcasters that rate their
programmes according to age.
1. Press MENU.
2. Select [Setup], then press OK.
3. Select [Child Lock], then press OK.
4. Enter the child lock code with the
Numeric buttons.
5. Select [Parental Rating], then
select an age rating.
All programmes above the selected
age rating are blocked.

see Use more of your TV > Set locks
and timers > Child lock (Page 19).
Clear child lock settings
You can clear the child lock settings
all at once.
1. Press MENU.
2. Select [Setup], then press OK.
3. Select [Child Lock], then press OK.

4. Enter the child lock code with the
Numeric buttons.
5. Select [Clear All], then press OK.
6. Follow the onscreen instructions to
confirm.

Use HDMI control

What you can do
You can get the most out of your
HDMI-CEC-compliant devices with
HDMI control enhanced control
features. Connect your HDMI-CEC
compliant devices through HDMI to
your TV and control them at the
same time with your TV remote
control.
Note: Other brands describe
HDMI-CEC functionality differently.
Some examples are Anynet
(Samsung), Aquos Link (Sharp) or
BRAVIA Sync (Sony). Not all brands
are fully compatible with Philips TV.
After you switch on HDMI control,
the following features are available:
One-touch play
When you play an HDMI-CEC
compliant device, the TV switches
on from standby and switches to the
correct source.
One-touch standby
When you press
control, the TV and all HDMI-CEC
compliant devices switch to
standby mode.
What you need
Connect an HDMI-CEC
compliant device to the TV. You
can connect more than one
HDMI-CEC device. See Connect
your TV > Connect devices
(Page 28).
