LG Setup Wizard

The LG Setup Wizard, comprising EZ-Manager Wizard and Express Script configuration options,
will appear on the screen each time the TV is turned ON, until one of its configuration methods has
been completed or the wizard is exited. Use the Installer Remote to make selections and complete
each step.
• The primary purpose of the EZ-Manager Wizard is to guide you through the process (automated
or manual) of configuring the essential Installer Menu items for Pro:Centric operation. However,
while intended primarily for Pro:Centric-related configuration, the EZ-Manager Wizard also offers
Zoning options. LX570M TVs support the TV Zoning feature, which enables location-specific
settings (see Reference section, "Using the TV Zoning Feature," for further information). The EZ-
Manager Wizard enables you to set the TV Zone # in the TV as part of the configuration process.
• The EZ-Manager Wizard also enables you to access USB download options as part of the
configuration process, if desired, to perform USB configuration and/or update functions.
• The Express Script guides you through the process of configuring the TV for FTG Mode via
CPU operation. This includes setting up the pillow speaker, as required. The Express Script also
enables you to configure the Pro:Centric settings on the TV.
Caution: Do NOT unplug the TV power cord or remove the antenna cable during the
configuration process, as doing so will interrupt the current step and may corrupt the
configuration data.
Note: If you do not intend to complete the Express Script, but you wish to enable
pillow speaker functionality, you must set Installer Menu item 027 HOSPITAL MODE
appropriately. See the "Installer Menu" section of this document for further information.

Before You Begin

• If you plan to create a customized Master TV Setup using the procedure described on pages
31 to 35, be sure to exit the LG Setup Wizard in order to avoid setup conflicts or setting modes
that may cause the TV to malfunction or restrict the custom setup procedure. See also "Initiate
Configuration or Exit the LG Setup Wizard" below.
• If it has been completed or exited and therefore does not display, the Setup Wizard can be
reactivated; however, this requires that you restore the TV to a factory default condition. See
Reference section, "Restoring Factory Defaults on the TV(s)," for further information.

Initiate Configuration or Exit the LG Setup Wizard

The welcome screen provides a brief introduction to the LG Setup Wizard.
Note: Once you proceed with one of the configuration options, it is not possible to return to the
Setup Wizard Welcome screen; however, if you simply wish to exit the EZ-Manager Wizard or
Express Script (depending on your selection from the Setup Wizard Welcome screen), you can do
so using "exit" options available from the subsequent screen(s).
