underneath the case rim, then pull the retainer
forward to disengage the rear tabs.
3. Separate the elastomer, circuit board and
retainer from the stainless steel case. Next
remove the retainer and circuit board from the
elastomer, being careful not to kink the tempera-
ture sensor flex. You will see the batteries on the
upper portion above the LCD hole.
