information.
4. When the engine starts to
crank, you can release the
key and let Smart Start
take over. When the
engine starts, it will
gradually slow from a fast
idle to normal idle. If
engine is cold, it will
operate at a slightly higher
idle speed until warm-up is
complete. Make sure that
when you do shift into gear
that you are at idle speed
(less than 1100 RPM). Let
engine warm up to normal
operating temperature
before accelerating.
