    Technical Installation Guide 2.1.18. Windshield Mounting Adapters The AWS-4000 mounting adapter holds the Vision Sensor Unit (VSU). It is selected according to the windshield angle. Different windshield mounting adapters are required to provide for different windshield angles that are found in different vehicle models. The windshield angle is measured from the plane parallel to the ground.
