a) Check the cruise control functions:

For Vehicle with Dynamic Radar Cruise
Control System*
c) Push the main switch and check that the
"CRUISE" indicator in the instrument
cluster comes on and "RADAR READY"
appears
display. (Vehicle to vehicle distance
control mode)
d) Check that cruise control mode is
changed between vehicle to vehicle
distance control mode and conventional
(fixed speed) control mode by pushing
the cruise control lever for longer than
about 1 second. (No indication in the
fixed speed control mode)

e) Check that the vehicle to vehicle
distance setting is changed from
"Long" to "Middle" to "Short" and then
back to "Long" by pulling the distance
switch on the steering wheel.
HINT:
Always keep the radar sensor glass clean.
