d) Opening the windows and sliding roof*
1. Push the "UNLOCK" button until
the windows and sliding roof start
to move. When the button is
released, they stop opening.
HINT:
When all the windows and the sliding
roof start to open, one beep sounds.
e) Sounding an alarm
1. Keep the "PANIC" button pushed
for about 1 second to sound an
alarm.
HINT:
At this time, all the headlights, taillights
and turn signal lights flash.
1. To stop the alarm, push any button.
With the doors, hood and luggage
compartment door locked, check that the
system operates properly.
System test:
a) Open the windows.
b) Lock all the doors using the electronic
key. Be sure to wait until the security
indicator light on the dash panel starts
flashing.
c) Unlock one of the doors using the
inside door lock. The system should
activate the alarm (sounding of the
horn, blinking of the headlights,
taillights
and
lighting up interior light) and lock all
doors at the same time.
d) Cancel the system by unlocking either
door with the electrical key.
