• You can also erase a file or folder by pressing CLEAR
when the file or folder is highlighted. Press ENTER to
confirm.
Copying
1 Select the file(s) or folder(s) you want to copy.
You can select multiple folders, or multiple files within a
folder using the Multi-Mode; see Selecting multiple files or
folders on page 83.
• Copying a folder will copy all the files contained in it.
2 Select 'File Options' or 'Folder Options' (or 'Multi-
Mode Options').
3 Select 'Copy' or 'Copy Folder Contents'.

• Copying to the HDD will not work if there is
insufficient space on the HDD; if there are already the
maximum number of files and/or folders on the HDD.
• You can copy a combined total of 998,001 folders and
files.

Naming
1 Select the file or folder you want to rename.
You can't rename files that have been locked.
2 Select 'File Options' or 'Folder Options'.
3 Select 'Rename File' or 'Rename Folder'.

4 Enter a new name for the file/folder.
Filenames or Foldernames can be up to 64 characters
long.

Locking/Unlocking
Locking files will protect them from accidental erasure
and prevent them from being renamed.
Use the same process to both lock and unlock files.
Locked files are displayed in the Photo Viewer with a
padlock icon.
1 Select the file(s) you want to lock (or unlock).
You can select multiple files within a folder using the
Multi-Mode; see Selecting multiple files or folders on
page 83.
2 Select 'File Options' or 'Folder Options' (or 'Multi-
Mode Options').
3 Select 'Lock' or 'Lock Folder Contents'.
