GENERAL FAULT FINDING GUIDE
CAUTION - Repairs should only be carried out by a QUALIFIED AND FULLY TRAINED PERSON !
NO POWER
With the vacuum and pump switch in the 'on' position (II), the vacuum and pump will not run.
PROBABLE CAUSES
Defective power cord
Defective switch
Loose connections to terminal block
Blown plug fuse
House or building circuit breaker tripped
NO VACUUM
With the vacuum switch in the 'on' position (I or II), the vacuum will not run.
PROBABLE CAUSES
Defective switch
Vacuum motor defective
Loose wire connections
LOSS OF VACUUM
While the unit is running, there is a loss of suction at the cleaning tool.
PROBABLE CAUSES
Vacuum filter between tanks is clogged
Vacuum gasket between tanks is worn or damaged
Internal vacuum hose damaged or clogged
Hole in vacuum hose
Vacuum hose not fitted tightly onto recovery tank inlet
Recovery tank not firmly clamped down onto solution tank
Vacuum motor defective or fans clogged
NO PUMP PRESSURE
With the pump switch in the 'on' position (II), the pump will not run.
PROBABLE CAUSES
Defective switch
Defective pump
Loose wire connections
LOW PUMP PRESSURE
With the pump motor running the spray from the cleaning wand is below normal.
PROBABLE CAUSES
Solution tank filters clogged
Accumulation of debris in pump or solution lines
Suction leak at pump inlet
Pressure leak at pump outlet
Quick connect(s) defective
Spray tip worn, clogged or incorrectly positioned

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace power cord
Replace switch
Re-fit connections
Replace fuse
Re-set breaker switch
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace switch
Replace vacuum motor
Check and correct wiring
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Clean foam and filter screen
Replace gasket
Inspect and clean or replace
Repair or replace hose
Re-fit hose cuff
Check clamps and filter gasket for correct fit
Replace vacuum motor
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace switch
Replace pump
Check and correct wiring
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Clean as necessary
Locate blockage and clean as required
Locate leak and repair
Locate leak and repair
Replace quick connect(s)
Replace, clean or re-position
