Testing the VoiceCom 1000™ System
Once the mechanical and electrical installation is completed, it is time to test the
functionality of the VoiceCom 1000™ system. The test for correct functioning is
only possible when the system has been connected to a compatible
®
Bluetooth
phone. Please refer to the relevant section in the Owner's manual to
find out how to proceed. Test placing and receiving calls, the muting function
and the audio level. It is important to test the intelligibility of your voice when
making a call. This is dependent on the microphone sensitivity and the distance
between the microphone and the caller.

microphone sensitivity.

by adjusting the dip switches as shown in the
illustration. Please note, that increasing the
microphone sensitivity increases the

the connections. Make sure no wires or cables are pinched or exhibit unwanted
tensile stress. Replace all panels and coverings into the original state using the
original hardware and appropriate tools.

Now you should take a little time to get familiar with its operation. Before using
your hands-free VoiceCom 1000™ system on the road, make some phone calls
in order to find out the optimum conditions for volume and direction of
speech.
