Power Connection
recommended to use the front passenger side speaker because of a low risk of
audio feedback, and it is generally easy to hear. Locate the positive wire from the
radio's wiring harness to the passenger side speaker (see the radio owner's
manual). Cut this wire approx. 1 ft (30 cm) from the connector. Cut the white wire
(position 3) of the Universal Wiring Harness to the desired length and connect it to
the short end of the previously cut speaker wire, using a supplied cable connector.
Repeat the procedure using the purple wire (position 4) of the Universal Wiring
Harness and connect it to the long end of the previously cut speaker wire.
Locate the negative wire from the radio's wiring harness to the passenger side
speaker (see the radio owner's manual). Cut this wire approx. 1 ft (30 cm) from the
connector. Cut the black wire (position 8) of the Universal Wiring Harness to the
desired length and connect it to the short end of the previously cut speaker wire,
using a supplied cable connector. Repeat the procedure using the green wire
(position 7) of the Universal Wiring Harness and connect it to the long end of the
previously cut speaker wire. Now the passenger side speaker is connected through
the VoiceCom 1000™ Control Unit. Finally connect the mute pin of the radio with
the yellow wire (position 6) of the Universal Wiring Harness. See the illustration. With
this connection type, the radio mutes during an incoming or outgoing phone call and
the audio is transmitted through the car's passenger speaker.

Audio Connection Type C

In case your car radio has no mute-pin, ROSEN offers an optional accessory
Radio Muting unit, which allows muting of the car radio's speakers, when a
phone call is made or received. You can find details and the connection
