Audio Connection Type D
Should you have to use an external speaker for the audio of the mobile phone
as required when the conditions as mentioned in the section 'Getting Started,"
the audio connection to the external speaker is made with the purple and
green wires (positions 4 and 7) of the Universal Wiring Harness. See illustration.
With this connection type the radio is not muted during an incoming or outgoing
call except when the Radio Muting unit is installed.
Connecting all Components of the VoiceCom 1000™
System
After mounting all the components and performing the electrical wiring, the
components are connected to the Control Unit as follows:
~ Insert the microphone male plug
into the microphone jack
~ Insert the main connector plug
from the Remote Control (pin
connector) into the Control Unit
and tighten the securing screws
