Step 1:

Use the UP/DOWN switches to go to the BANK that contains the PRESET of your choice

(here: BANK #3).

Step 2:

Select the PRESET you wish to use (here: PRESET #1).

If DIRECT SELECT is on, do as follows to select PRESET #1 from BANK #3:

Step 1:

Select the BANK of your choice (here: BANK #3) by stepping on foot switch #3.

Step 2:

Select the PRESET you wish to use (here: PRESET #1) by stepping on foot switch #1.

As this example shows, the DIRECT SELECT feature gives you a faster access to BANKS and PRESETS

than without this function. Which option to use is entirely up to you. As long as you need the PRESETS from

one BANK only, it will be advisable to disable the DIRECT SELECT function.
