    This document explains how to use a Behringer FCB1010 MIDI Foot Controller with the Korg Pa2X PRO 76-Key Arranger Keyboard. You can control the essential Style Elements on the Pa2X remotely by using the FCB1010 device. Additionally, you can connect a weighted 88-key Stage Piano like the Roland RD-700GX utilizing the MIDI Merge function of the FCB1010 device.

    Set the FCB1010 in MIDI MERGE MODE You want the MIDI OUT from the Roland RD-700GX to feed the MIDI IN of the FCB1010. You want the merged output from the FCB1010 to feed the Korg Pa2X Pro. Open the GLOBAL CONFIGURATION – CONFIG page: Make sure the LEDs on Pedal 8 and 9 are ON.

    Turn on the Pa2X last. If you turn on the RD-700GX before turning on the FCB1010 unit, you will see a flashing LED. The 10 Presets on Bank 1 is all you really need to remotely control the Korg Pa2X.
