to verify the

operation

Low Ohms
function
in

8012A:
1.
On
the
UUT,
select
the
LO
RANGE H
function,

range.
2.
Connect
the
Low Ohms
Calibration
Lead
between
the
LO
RANGE
fl
and
COMMON
input terminals.
3.
Adjust
the front
panel
ZERO
control for
a
display
reading of
all
zeros.
4.
Remove
the
Low Ohms
Calibration
Lead from
the
COMMON
input
terminal.
5.
Plug
the
1.9fl
Test Set
into the
COMMON
input terminal,
and
connect
Low Ohms
Calibration
Lead
to the
1.90
Test
Set.
6.
Verify that the display reading
is
between
"1.879"
and
"l.,921".
7.
On
the
UUT,
select
the
200
range
and
replace
the
1.90
Test Set with
the
190
Test
Set.
8.
Verify that the display reading
is
between
"18.88"
and
"19.12".

Connect
the
HI
output

DMM
Calibrator

function.
3.
For

adjust the

required
UUT
voltage
input,
then
verify
that
the
UUT
display
reading
is
within
limits.

On
the
UUT,
measure and
record
the voltage
level
on
TPl
with the
DMM.
NOTE
Refer
to
Figure
4-3
for
the location
of
TPl
and
TPl.
4.
Verify that the voltage
level at
TPl
(in
Step
3)
is
between -20
mV
and
20
mV.
5.
Measure
the voltage
level
on TP2.
Verify that
the voltage
level
on
TP2
is
within
1
mV
of the
level
recorded
in
Step
3
(at
TPl).
