The download then commences at the time you have set.
After the update has been completed, the receiver is re-initialized and
starts normal operation. In case of an error or a missing signal then
the "Download Failed" message is displayed
Never switch the receiver off during an update as you will then lose all
of the software on the unit. The unit must then be brought to a
factory/workshop or the software must be re-installed using a PC and
null modem cable. During the download, the message
"Please Wait" flashes on the screen.

Observe all screen messages! You have to reset the time after
a software update!

The connection diagram at the end of these operating instructions and
the description of your video recorder contain information on how to
connect your video recorder to the receiver.
To make a VCR recording (Record), the DVB-C receiver must be
switched on and/or the timer must be preprogramed (refer to the
"Timer Settings" section).
Both in standby mode and when switched on, the signal path is
connected from VCR playback (Play) to the VCR-/AUX-SCART
connector.
