Hello! I purchased a used FitDesk 3.0 and have consulted the manual. The meter does not seem to record anything or time anything - it does have batteries and shows a 0 on every setting but it does not change no matter what mode I seem to put it on. I would like to be able to see my time and distance. What am I doing wrong? Thank you!

The meter on a FitDesk 3.0 may not record time or distance due to the following reasons:
1. The batteries are not fresh or properly installed. 2. The meter is in Scan Mode, which may prevent it from staying on a specific mode like time or distance. 3. The “Mode” button has been pressed but the meter was not pedaled afterward, so no data was recorded.
To fix this, ensure the AAA batteries are fresh and correctly installed, exit Scan Mode if necessary, and start pedaling to activate the meter.
