8.7 Setup

8.7.1 Slave mode (passive mode/Bluetooth™)
The thermometer is constantly ‚on' in this mode and the computer searches for it. This
is advantageous when the temperature needs to be monitored continuously.
Caution: Batteries of the thermometer that is operated continuously discharge consi-
derably quickly when compared with those used intermittently.
(ON) locks the measurement button.
Toggling the display between °C and °F (the time and date format
also change).
(ON) acoustic alarm.

Function keys are disabled.
The laser marking starts blinking when the alarm values are exceeded.
(On) The turn-off time does not extend automatically after receiving
a command from the software (applicable only to the operation in
the master mode)
Toggles the BluetoothTM mode.
Toggles between the date and time display.

Temperature range for the K type: -30°C ... +400 °C
