Troubleshooting

This guide should be followed in case of failure of the appliance to operate correctly. If symptoms persist contact our Customer Service Team on (02) 8667 7874.
Problem
Little or no material flow
Material leaking
Atomization is too coarse
Pattern runs or sags
Too much overspray
Pattern is very light and
splotchy
Spluttering paint
Inlet hose not sucking up
water when cleaning the unit
WARNING! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR OR MODIFY THE APPLIANCE
Cause
Nozzle clogged
Suction tube clogged
Pressure control dial turned too low (-)
Suction tube loose
Air filter clogged
Nozzle loose
Nozzle worn
Nozzle seal worn
Material build-up on air cap and nozzle
Viscosity of material too high
Material volume too large
Nozzle clogged
Air filter clogged
Applying too much material
Gun too far from spray object
Too much material applied
Moving the spray gun too fast
Motor brushes binding in brush holders.
Air bubbles in the return pipe
Lack of pressure

Clean the nozzle

Clean brush holders. Remove carbon dust by using compressed air to
blow out brush dust
Complete bleeding operation to remove air bubbles
Complete the bleeding operation to reprime the unit
