Electric HVLP Paint Sprayer

Troubleshooting

Problem
Paint drips on the object to be painted.
Paint application is weak or irregular
Paint isn't coming out from the paint
sprayer.
For safety reasons and to ensure correct operation, the reservoir is not hermetically sealed. Even after it is
completely closed, a small flow of air may still be present.
Cause
Paint product is too diluted.
Spray needs adjustment.
Movement is too slow.
Paint sprayer trigger remains pulled.
Distance of the paint sprayer.
Paint is too diluted.
Adjust the spray.
Spraying movement is too fast.
Paint sprayer is clogged.
Paint sprayer is too far from the object.
Paint is not thinned enough.
Paint is too thick; viscosity is too high.
Paint sprayer is clogged.
Hose has burst or is broken.
Air filter is clogged.
Paint is grainy.
Reservoir is poorly closed.
Solution
Add an undiluted paint product.
Reduce the paint flow by tightening
the screw.
Move the paint sprayer faster.
When reversing your movement, let go
of the trigger.
Increase the distance between the
paint sprayer and the object.
Add more thinner.
Increase the amount of paint by using
the screw.
Move the paint sprayer more slowly.
Clean the paint sprayer. Clean the
internal nozzle with a non-metallic
object.
Decrease the distance between the
paint sprayer and the object.
Add more thinner.
Check the viscosity of the paint
product.
Clean the paint sprayer. Clean the
internal nozzle with a non-metallic
object.
Replace the hose.
Replace the filter.
Filter the paint, if necessary, using a
filter or a screen.
Clean the gasket and close the
reservoir.
